- Born to Maelle (Hyur) and Varnehn (Elezen) of Clan Lavellan, a nomadic group devoted to peace between mankind and dragonkind, that resides in the heart of the Dravanian Forelands
- Shortly before she was conceived, Therith’s father was forced to partake in dragons blood to protect his wife, causing him to transform into a Syricta. This, in turn, causes Therith to be born as more dragon than Elezen or Hyur.
- Around the age of seven, Therith’s parents are discovered by Ishgardian Inquisitors during a hunting trip and are subsequently executed under accusations of heresy.
